about

thanks for stopping by. SO, hi i'm fin and i make lots of music. i made my first albums and did beats for friends around 2015 and 2016, but my first real release was Berkeley, which came out in 2018.

AUTOSTEREOGRAM began in 2020 as a way to collect all my disparate projects under different aliases under one umbrella. basically, it came about because uploading releases under different aliases across 3 different Bandcamps became too much of a pain in the ass.

it exists as both an underlying signature on everything i create as well as a label that releases it.

since then, i've put out over thirty releases (and counting!) under a number of different monikers all under ASG.

as far as my aliases and what they entail, the ones that are currently active are Jaew and Elm Maxell. they're flipsides of the same coin to an extent: Jaew is electronic, detailed, hi-fi, and intricate, and Elm Maxell is hip-hop beats that are often lo-fi, immediate, improvisational, and raw.
